PSTAT 100 - Data Science: Concepts and Analysis

Course Description: Overview of data science key concepts and the use of tools for data retrieval, analysis, visualization, and reproducible research. Topics include an introduction to inference and prediction, principles of measurement, missing data, and notions of causality, statistical “traps”, and concepts in data ethics and privacy. Case studies will illustrate the importance of domain knowledge. Credit units: 4.

Please note, for security purposes, we can only share the link to the server with students who are currently enrolled in the course.

In addition to the above deadlines, there will be two labs every week which you will be asked to turn in. These labs are designed to be completed during our scheduled Discussion Section periods.
